What’s with the blog name? Because my name is NOT Maggie. ;-p

It’s Meggie, with an ‘e’! Rhymes with “Peggy”.

When my mama was pregnant, she was hooked on the super popular early 80’s miniseries, The Thorn Birds, think Little House on the Prairie set in New Zealand.

The main character’s name is Meggie - so that’s where it came from!

I’m stoked you’re here!

This isn’t your average lifestyle blog.

The focus is not fashion or home decor,

although, I’ll sprinkle some of that along the way.

This space was created as a femage.

A ‘female homage’ - a new word I made up, so fetch :-p

This is a creation of reverence

to the amazing capacity of women.

Where we can talk about real sh*t.

Share the balancing act of being a mom and an entrepreneur.

Oh, and where I got these shoes. ;-D

I have experienced sexual trauma, infidelity and divorce.

I can’t bake to save my life,

I’m obsessed with changing my hair color

and enjoy hosting loved ones in my home.

I surTHRIVE daily over anxiety, depression and burnout.

I am hooked on espresso,

Eminem

and encouraging women to become exactly who God created them to be.

Some of you may know from my badass company, Organized Life Design,

which is my first born child! I am crazy honored to work alongside a talented, driven group of women and proud of how much we have grown in 7 years!

If we’re being introduced for the first time, I hope we’ll be friends!

Not the kind that only talks about what our kids are doing or what we’re binging on Netflix.

The kind of friends that pray for each other,

that build each other up

and cheer the loudest from the sidelines.
